Historycaching preserves history with "FDR at Historic Titusville" geocache

This geocache commemorates the visit of FDR to Central Florida in March of 1936. Laminated cards depict this popular President with his visit to Orlando and Titusville. For those interested in preserving history and forwarding it to future generations historycaching is an excellent media to do just that. Since the advent of the GPS (Global Positioning System) a new kind of adventure of fun and discovery awaits the curiosity seeker. All that is needed is a GPS unit that can be purchased at local electronic or department store or downloaded appropriate apps with smart phones can be used.

Through the use of Geocaches, a waterproof container of various sizes, a variety of items hidden inside can be be found by the fun seeker. These little treasured items may include medallions, notes on the secret history of the location, index of other geocache locations, and other curiosities
